Anne Kellett, during one of the Business Counsel for Peace missions she led to Rwanda to help women business owners, realized the role she could play in directly supporting economic development efforts of genocide survivors involved in the Rwanda Knits project.  As a result, Made for Peace was born as a means to bring you the many beautiful items produced by women who depend on their sale to build a better life.

Made for Peace is part of the Center for Social Responsibilty a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Profit from the sale of JaKiBo Peace scarves go directly to the Rwanda Knits project to support economic development in partnership with UNIFEM.
